ANGERGUT IN KASTELBELL IN VINSCHGAU
The Mitterer Family welcomes you to the Angergut in Kastelbell in the Venosta valley.
Our farm "Angergut" was founded in 1817 and since 1977, our family has run it. Here, we’ll spoil you with delicious South Tyrolean specialities, homemade juices and our very own wines.
The inn Angergut can easily be reached from the train station of the “Vinschger Bahn” in just 10 minutes. Both the Venosta valley bike path and the main road are only about 300 metres away. Turn left at the Kastelbell bridge in the direction of Marein and you’ll find the Angerguterkeller directly opposite the church.

OUR INN
The following premises are available to our guests in the Angergut:
- Three public rooms
- A brick cellar
- Several tables in the open air
Furthermore we offer:
- An outdoor children's playground
- A spacious parking lot, also equipped for buses
OUR MENU
Ulrike will pamper you with various South Tyrolean specialities and Tyrolean dishes, such as
- Bacon and cheese
- Sour beef/calf's head
- Soups (sour soup, bacon and liver dumpling soup)
- Kaiserschmarrn
- South Tyrolian Dumplings (spinach, cheese, pumpkin and beetroot)
The menu also varies according to the season.
OUR WINES AND JUICES
For a great meal, a good wine makes the perfect pairing! During your visit to the Angergut Inn, you can enjoy wines from our own production:
Red wines: Pinot Noir, Vernatsch, Zweigelt
White wines: Riesling, Kerner
Especially popular are our homemade juices in different flavours:

- Currant
- Strawberry
- Raspberry
- Dandelion
- Balm
You are welcome to buy the wines from our winery all year round and also outside our opening hours from the farm or online. For further information on sales, please contact us here.
We are there for you from March to the end of November on the following days:
Friday from 12.00 - 22.00
Saturday from 12.00 - 22.00
Sunday from 09.00 - 22.00
You can also make reservations for groups of 10 or more outside of our regular opening hours.
